Job Description:
The Resident Care Manager @ Byron Park directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for the residents within the Assisted Living Department. Responsible for ensuring exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion.May be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.
This is a full-time, salaried position, Sunday-Thursday.
Pay range: $72-80k/yr
**MUST POSSESS ACTIVE NURSE LICENSE**
What will I do everyday?- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating assigned residents and regularly assess levels of care,
appropriate for the setting, notifying Assistant Living Director as required
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist
- Responsible for effectively supervising departmental operations as directed on a day-to-day basis
- Responds in a tactful and timely manner to all residents, family members and/or staff
- Responsible for supervising resident medication programs
- May be asked to monitor all physician orders and ensures they have been followed timely and
- Responsible for scheduling Medtech associates and maintaining proper coverage
- Performs other related duties as required
- Previous supervisory experience required
- High school graduate required; college course work preferred
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required
- One to three years’ experience working in senior care
- Willing to build a team for proficiency
- Confident in a leadership role
- Must have appropriate State license required by law
- CPR Certified preferred
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
