We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented professional to oversee our client's payroll operations, ensuring precision and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the payroll process for 500-600 employees, ensuring timely and accurate semi-monthly payroll delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Manage and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, garnishments, and taxes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, promptly resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings to ensure timely compliance.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to guarantee accurate data entry for new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
  • Stay informed about trends and regulatory changes affecting payroll processes to keep our practices up to date.
  • Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management as needed, providing insights into payroll metrics.
  • Lead payroll audits and collaborate effectively with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of payroll practices and laws.
  • Proficiency with payroll software ADP WFN.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is preferred.
