Help Desk Specialist
Are you detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency? Do you have a technical background? Our local client is currently seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join their team. Full time opportunity in the Colonie Area. Responsibilities of the Help Desk Specialist will include:-Deliver first-line support for VoIP and phone system issues, ensuring quick resolution to reduce downtime.-Execute phone system moves, adds, and changes (MACs) as needed.-Diagnose and fix technical issues with VoIP systems, including network connectivity, hardware, and software problems.-Update and maintain user profiles and extensions in the phone system database to ensure accuracy.-Aid in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of VoIP hardware and software.-Work with network and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and peak performance of the phone system.-Record and manage all support requests, solutions, and follow-up actions using the helpdesk ticketing system.-Offer end-user training and support for phone system features and functionalities.-Monitor and assess phone system performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.-Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in VoIP and phone system technologies to enhance support services.-Other duties as assigned
