Overview

We are looking for a Network Inventory Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. This includes developing the project plan, driving project milestones, establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and key stakeholders, providing day-to-day direction to project resources, and ensuring that effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.

Specialized knowledge of outside plant cable network infrastructure is essential for this role. This is a hybrid position located in Denver, CO. All qualified candidates must live in the Denver Metro area and MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship or C2C.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Daily program/project management throughout the program life cycle
  • Plan the overall program and monitor progress
  • Own overall project plan and manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, and achievement of business goals.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, develop solutions, negotiate change, and implement
  • Work with management to review, optimize and document repeatable and effective program management
  • Liaison between cross functional teams such as sales, order management, engineering, and field operations
  • Build program documentation such as Program Charter, Risk Log, Trackability Matrix, Status Reports, Project Plans, or KPI Dashboard
  • Integrate business policies and governance processes into project planning & accountability
  • Manage risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
  • Identify, track and report program KPIs to assess impact
  • Coordinate, manage and monitor workflow of the cross-functional teams
  • Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings and discussions with stakeholders at all levels
  • Create appropriate documentation to communicate program status/risks/needs
  • Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Implement change management process

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodology, process optimization, executive level communication, and KPI analysis, gained through managing large and complex projects
  • Knowledge in outside plant cable network infrastructure
  • Must be solutions oriented and able to work at both a tactical and strategic level
  • Candidates must be flexible, adaptable, and work positively in a collaborative environment with many different personalities
  • Strong leadership, strong process and change management, stakeholdering, and management skills, coupled with ability to individually contribute all duties and responsibilities outlined here
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with ability to build project assets
  • Proven experience with Agile software development, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Visio, Jira, etc.
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills
  • Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
  • Ability to process information quickly and present it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives
Qualifications & Technical Skill Requirements
  • Minimum of 8-10 + years of project and/or program management expertise
  • Minimum of 8-10 + years of experience analyzing data and processes to identify areas of optimization and improvement
  • Experience in the telecommunication industry required - understanding of network operations, network engineering (voice and wireless), delivery processes, network design, or operational delivery processes.
  • Direct hands-on experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Smartsheet, and JIRA
  • Ability to visualize/document a process at a high level in PPT to help facilitate improvement of conversations
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, IT, Computer Science, or Finance
  • PMP certification is helpful

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensational decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model.

This is a long-term consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $70-$85. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
