About the role:

The Retail Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting in creating and executing projects and programs that drive growth and profitability in our stores. This position will continue to develop effective communication, workload planning and project management to achieve operational excellence across stores.

This role is based in our Stamford CT office and reports to the Director of Retail Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the flow of essential communications from corporate to stores, including policies, updates, promotions, and operational changes
  • Serve as the intermediary between stores and corporate teams, ensuring that both sides are aligned and informed
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and accurately reflect current processes. Work with teams to update content as needed
  • Oversee store-facing document libraries and other content to ensure proper security access and that files are relevant and current
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Store Leaders, Retail leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Oversee the approval and placing of orders for store supplies, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and store needs are met in a timely manner
  • Support the store facilities program ensuring that stores are properly maintained and that facility-related issues are addressed promptly
  • Coordinate systems access and allotment program for new hires and terminations, ensuring that access to tools, software, and systems is set up or revoked as needed
  • Act as a point of contact for escalating critical issues to corporate teams and ensure that resolution steps are communicated back to stores
  • Assist with the development and implementation of processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Support semi-annual inventory ensuring stores are prepared, including but not limited to scheduling, organization, and training; attend and participate in store inventory as needed
  • Act as the point of contact for escalating technology issues in stores through the Retail Support system, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Assist with New Store Openings as needed including planning and coordination, procurement, and on site leadership
  • Provide assistance for special projects in stores or with cross-functional teams as needed, ensuring that the execution aligns with operational goals

What you’ll bring:

  • 1-2 years administrative experience; retail experience in apparel is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Precise attention to detail, with established time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals, including resolving conflict to get to a decision
  • Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Self-starter mentality, with ability to work independently as well as in group settings
  • Ability and willingness to travel; 20%-30%
