Summary:Responsible to function as the "scrub technologist" in the surgical suite and other clinical areas, which consists of the selection and set-up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment; the passing of instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; maintaining sterile technique and caring for instruments following the procedure.
Required Qualifications: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
2 years experience as a surgical technologist the ability to competently scrub all regularly performed procedures in five of the eight core service-line clusters (cardiac, thoracic|vascular, orthopedics, spine, general|urology|gynecology, EENT|plastics|maxillofacial, neuro, robotics).
Of the five service-lines, three must be general|urology|gynecology, orthopedics, and spine.
Compensation: Base Salary - $57,564 to $82,910
