We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Rochester, New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the human services industry. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, improving quality, and performing routine audits.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the agency's leadership.
• Conduct new staff orientation and provide ongoing training on corporate compliance, HIPAA, documentation expectations, and other regulatory and agency expectations.
• Execute regular documentation audits across all programs to meet the expectations of regulators and oversight bodies.
• Provide constructive feedback to directors and staff, and perform specialized audits as needed to identify trends and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate incident reporting and facilitate internal reviews.
• Collect and analyze data for the purpose of improving quality across the agency.
• Assist in the distribution of consumer satisfaction surveys and the implementation of recommended actions for improvement.
• Schedule meetings and appointments as needed, ensuring all attendees receive necessary information regarding meeting location.
• Use your auditing skills to ensure that all procedures and policies meet regulatory standards.
• Utilize your customer service skills to resolve any inquiries and maintain a high level of service. • Proficient in auditing processes, with a focus on operational audits and regulatory audits.
• Experience in a call center customer service role, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of corporate compliance procedures and regulations.
• Familiarity with regulatory policies and reporting requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory policies to maintain compliance.
• Strong communication skills to effectively address customer queries and concerns.
• Attention to detail for thorough review of operations and processes.
