Accounting Clerk

This is a short term contract position that offers an opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and process financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records of all company transactions.
• Process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.
• Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation and making necessary adjustments.
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel in all aspects of accounting.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with financial software is a plus
