Administrative Assistant I

Responsibilities:
The Recruitment Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing support duties to the recruitment office. This role is expected to complete routine support functions while following established guidelines and procedures. These tasks will have their own checks and balances or will be reviewed closely for accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a point of administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and external constituents.
- Providing administrative assistance and support to the assigned organizational staff.
- Preparing various reports based on operational assignment.
- Composing and editing of internal and external correspondence and documents.
- Maintaining organizational databases by updating them with necessary information and be able to run reports from those databases.
- Coordinating appointments, meetings and conference rooms, including working with internal and external constituents as necessary.
- Performing routine office administrative functions such as typing, filing, copying, ordering office supplies, and answering phones
Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent along with one year experience in providing administrative support and managing an office. Any combination of education, training, and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience will be considered.
Must have valid driver license.
Must have Advance Computer Skills : Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, Formulas, etc), Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hourly salary is $22.41/hr to $25.10/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
