Senior Program Manager
You'll lead multiple, concurrent development programs through proposal, funding, development, qualification and volume production for our client in the Aerospace industry based in Parsippany, NJ.
- Initiating activity within client site to satisfy customer contract scope/statement of work
- Proactively drive achievement of major milestones and high customer satisfaction
- Using industry experience to recognize and preemptively address technical, cost, and schedule risks
- Act as primary point of contact for assigned customers
-Facilitating IPD Process compliance by completing required Initiating Activities, Design Reviews, and Gate Review requirements.-Facilitate internal and customer weekly team meetings/telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item Lists-Create Monthly Program Review materials for assigned projects and presenting to Executive Leadership-Provide Program Management support of new business proposals; create PM deliverables to the management volume-Manage Bids for new, or follow-on, business proposals-Achievement of NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance against budget for assigned projects-Review and creation of material and/or labor plans and cost reports-Resolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issues-Monitor and control of project scope-Escalation of issues or risks that cannot be resolved at the project team level-Maintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projects-Identifying opportunities to grow business content with associated projects and customers-Supporting significant proposals with related PMO inputs-Initiating and scrubbing proposal Bases of Estimates and Schedules-Abide by all safety, quality, and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to various regulatory and internal system requirements
