Staff Accountant

My client, a growing pharmaceutical company located in the Saddle Brook area has an opportunity for a Staff Accountant. This is hybrid position (Only in Office 2 days/week).
- Accounts Payable – input vendor bills, obtain necessary approvals, process payments.
- Sales Commission Statements – maintain accuracy of database, prepare statements, process payments, follow up on inquiries.
- Accounts Receivable – track current and past due customer payments, check deposit scanning and recording, report weekly to upper management.
- Prepare Distributor agreements as requested and maintain master contact list and files.
- Weekly Bank Reconciliations.
- Month-end journal entries and account analysis.
- Assist with Month-end close.
- Review and process monthly expense reports.
- Annual 1099 reporting.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with accounting software a plus.
- BS in Accounting or Finance.
- Detail-oriented.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Previous professional experience a plus
