We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Client's team based in New York, New York. This role is centered around financial operations within our team, with a focus on accounts payable and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining our account payables.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage accounts payable, including coding invoices and account reconciliation.
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and making deposits.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
  • Utilize Excel formulas for various financial calculations and data management tasks.
  • Assist in invoice processing, from receipt to payment.
  • Conduct check runs to ensure all outstanding invoices are paid.
  • Undertake data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Experience in performing Check Runs and Coding Invoices.
  • Strong Data Entry skills.
  • Familiarity with Invoice Processing procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
