We are seeking a skilled Sr. Java Developer with strong expertise in PHP. The ideal candidate will support the migration of existing workflows from an on-premise PowerCenter environment to the cloud-based platform. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-browser and cross-platform compatible applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and reliable code while refactoring as needed to enhance system performance.
- Work in an agile environment with a strong focus on unit testing, code quality, and continuous integration/deployment.
- Build Java web services, including both SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Perform Frontend development utilizing such tools as HTML, PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, XHTML, and XML.
- Write test cases utilizing tools such as JUnit, Serenity, or Cucumber.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years of experience with Java/J2EE in an agile Full Stack development environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience in building Java web services, including both SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in JSF, ORM frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Experience writing test cases using JUnit, Serenity, or Cucumber.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
- Frontend development experience with HTML, PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, XHTML, and XML.
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Zend is preferred.
- Strong database management experience; PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience working with geospatial information systems (GIS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (such as AngularJS, Node.js, Ember, or React) and enterprise search technologies (Lucene, Solr) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
