Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

education: High School

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment, including CNC machines, conveyors, hydraulic presses, and robotic arms.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on machines.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Use diagnostic tools (voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes) to identify electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replace and repair worn or damaged components, including motors, gears, bearings, belts, and seals.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure machines are properly calibrated for quality production output.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for tracking repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and equipment upgrades, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), to maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance mechanics and operators on proper machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
