Staff Accountant - Weston

Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join a rest and nursing facility located in Weston, MA. They are a nonprofit senior living community with a a 25-bed rest home, and a 50-bed skilled nursing community.

• Assisting in maintaining all financial systems including the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation/coordination of other financial reporting and analysis.
• Post and/or review journal entries to the ledger.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, expenses, revenues, and financial schedules on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the year-end review audit requirements.
• Assist in the coordination/preparation of Medicaid and Medicare cost reports supporting schedules.

• Minimum of two (2) years’ accounting experience
• Accounting degree preferred
• Specific knowledge and experience with long-term care/third party reimbursement preferred
• Strong computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills
