SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Chief Construction Estimator for its client in Sylmar, CA(link removed) The person will be responsible for managing all estimating activities for underground and heavy civil construction projects.
You will lead a team, review project documents, and ensure accurate bids in collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee estimating for underground and heavy civil projects.
- Review contract plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Guide and supervise estimating team members.
- Obtain and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and submit bid documents and proposals.
- Coordinate with project teams and partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or any related field.
- 10+ years of experience in underground and heavy civil construction.
- 5+ years of experience estimating in this field.
- Experience leading estimating teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
