Position Summary:
Responsibilities: Essential Duties- Develops and test solutions to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, sales, construction, inspection and maintenance.
- Assists engineers and scientists as they create, modify and test products and processes.
- Performs extensive research and development during creation phase of product.
- Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement.
- Conducts tests and collects data.
- Utilizes computer aided design and drafting equipment during design phase.
- Provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- May act as a lead or first level supervisor.

- Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.

- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
Target Based Range: $63,300-$68,300

Required:
- High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
- 06-08 years related experience required.
