Job Description
  • Act as the primary HR liaison for assigned facilities, providing expert guidance on HR matters.
  • Collaborate closely with managers to align HR practices with operational goals and address workforce needs effectively.
  • Implement and administer HR policies and procedures across all locations.
  • Support HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, workers' compensation, and employee relations.
  • Partner with managers to address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a culture of open communication.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to source, select, and onboard top talent.
  • Administer employee benefits, payroll processes, and other HR-related systems.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve organizational performance.
  • Partner with HR leadership to conduct investigations, resolve issues, and implement employee engagement strategies.
  • Facilitate diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring all employees feel valued and respected.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in food manufacturing/production or a startup environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing HR functions across multiple facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
