Salesforce Architect

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, as well as task and workflow analysis;
• Develops, tests, documents and implements Apex code on the VisualForce pages for enhancements to the STMS application and other supporting applications, including the user management client;
• Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts effectively, transforms high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs;
• Develops requirements and specifications according to standard templates, using natural language;
• Proactively communicates and collaborates with stakeholders to analyze information needs and requirements and provides the following documentation deliverables as needed: requirements, business requirements, use cases, cases, and interface designs;
• Evaluates underlying assumptions for the implementation plan and challenges the vendor and agency business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans;
• Collaborates with solution designers, agency IT personnel and subject matter experts to complete development tasks;
• Provides input for project planning to accomplish project goals with constraints, such as time, cost and agreed quality standards;
• Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously;
• Works independently with users to define concepts;
• Completes tasks as required by project deadlines and schedules;
• Communicates and applies project standards;
• Manages resources in accordance with project schedule;
• Ensures requirements, functionality and resource allocations meet project deliverables based on the nature and scope of the project;
• Leads testing efforts;
• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner;
• Works with client personnel to identify required changes;
• Develops and deploys needed changes to the STMS application.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Salesforce Architect (5+ years);
• Experience with Apex coding and development with detailed understanding of Lightning Components and SOQL (2+ years);
• Experience with configuring Salesforce roles, permissions, sharing rules, reports and dashboards;
• Experience with Automate using Process Builder, Workflows;
• Experience integrating custom Salesforce application using web services, SOAP/REST APIs;
• Experience with relational databases;
• Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting in an Active Directory environment and integration of Active Directory Single-Sign-On services with Salesforce;
• Experience Develops well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand code;
• Experience with integrating systems with third party applications;
• College diploma or university degree in business, commerce or information technology.
