You will ensure that the right systems and procedures are in place for effective program execution and flawless audits. This role will also require you to work closely with department heads to enhance their understanding of finance and accounting procedures, and to explore how the finance function can support program operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day finance operations.
• Lead the accounts receivable and payable department.
• Oversee payroll operations.
• Manage budgets, including administrative and departmental budget preparation.
• Ensure appropriate systems and procedures are in place for effective program implementation and audits.
• Serve as the principal liaison for the external audit firm.
• Advise management on revenue enhancement and cost containment strategies.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret periodic financial reports for management information and control.
• Assist with budget presentations to Board committees and interested outside parties.
• Ensure correct use of Accounting Software Systems, CRM, and Sage 50 in financial operations.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller.
• Proficiency in using 3M.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.
• Proficiency in using CRM.
• Experience with Crystal Reports.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP).
• Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with Auditing.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes.
• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation.
• Experience with Sage 50.
