[ref. o13051000] Goods In/Despatch Manager

Becketts Foods Ltd is a leading food processing company, operating in the CV2 area of Coventry since 1983. We are currently seeking a skilled Goods in/despatch Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the goods in/despatch department, ensuring that products we receive are of the highest quality and meet our company's standards.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the goods in/despatch department and oversee the receiving and despatching of all goods.
• Managing the inspection and checking of all goods received to ensure they meet our company's standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of all goods received and ensure they are properly logged in our system.
• Managing the scheduling of deliveries and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Overseeing the training and development of staff within the goods in/despatch department.
• Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed within the goods in/despatch department.
• Continuously evaluating and improving the performance of the goods in/despatch department.
• Being responsible for all stock in the goods in/despatch department.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a goods in/despatch manager or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of receiving procedures and warehouse management systems.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve problems.
• Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory management software.

What we can offer:

• Salary £42,009.27
• Monday-Friday, but may be needed to work weekends to accommodate the needs of the business, flexibility will be required with start and finish time.
