At Recommender X, we are working with leading FMCG clients across the UK, Europe and North America to transform their data into high-impact insights using advanced analytics and AI.
Our Advise offering, www.advisecpg.com, provides a complete solution for brands looking to rapidly embed data across their business by combining intuitive AI-powered applications such as Category Intelligence, Intelligent Field Sales and Revenue Growth Management with a scalable data platform.
To further accelerate our growth ambitions, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team.
As a Sales and Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the retention, expansion and growth of our business through identifying, qualifying and engaging potential leads, nurturing and expanding relationships with existing and potential customers, and collaborating closely with the Advise solutioning team to close deals and drive ARR growth.
The ideal candidate will be a player/coach, initially focusing on growing our revenue by nurturing, retaining and closing key client leads themselves.

- Proven track record of at least 5 years in a Sales Lead role in a B2B software environment. Experience working with FMCG and/or retail clients is preferable.
- Existing relationships with target FMCG customers and decision makers.
- Solid understanding of data analytics and/or enterprise software solutions, and their client value proposition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly with clients, work collaboratively within a team to shape and close opportunities, and a consultative approach to successfully guide clients along the sales journey.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work across multiple client opportunities at different stages of maturity.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-driven mindset, with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline.
- Experience building, managing, and developing a small Sales team is preferable.
Working Model: Hybrid (based in UK)
Compensation
Full Job Specification will be made available to candidates in advance of interviews.
The role will report directly to our Commercial Lead and will focus on:
- Base: £50-£65k per annum depending on experience.
- Bonus: uncapped based on agreed annual closed contract values.
