About Our Client

Our client is a leading real estate development and property management organization that has been around for over 50 years, specializing in commercial, residential and multi-family real estate. • Record tenant transactions in the general ledger and prepare monthly HAP vouchers for the housing authority.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank and financial statement accounts, ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Area Manager to resolve accounting issues and complete daily tasks.
• Assist with month-end closing, annual audits, and preparation of reports for investors and tax agencies.
• Maintain files and records in compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Provide support in payroll/accounts payable functions and complete other tasks as assigned by the Controller and CFO.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred
• 4+ years of accounting experience, property accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Yardi
• Strong communication, time management, and analytical abilities
• Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times
