Program Manager for Maintenance and Reliability for a direct hire east of Green Bay, WI. Seeking the right M&R subject matter expert to be a key player of an operational excellence integration across several midwest operations.

The right person will lead and facilitate plant improvement activities such as optimization of maintenance plans, equipment criticality analysis, implementation of management processes, definition of roles and responsibilities in support of manufacturing excellence programs.

This leader will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills supporting change management and will have a knack for interacting with others while maintaining constructive working relationships. In this role you will be supporting AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and PM (Progressive Maintenance) as well as run to target (RTT) deployments in the operating system based on best practices, at the maintenance level, in order to unlock the full potential of all manufacturing operations.

Seeking a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering along with min of five (5) years of related experience with industrial maintenance and implementation of preventive maintenance and reliability programs. This position offers travel 50-75% domestically to other US plants in the midwest for extended periods.

responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate plant improvement activities such as optimization of maintenance plans, equipment criticality analysis, implementation of management processes, definition of roles and responsibilities, etc.
  • Support AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and PM (Progressive Maintenance) as well as run to target (RTT) deployments in operating system.
  • Set up fundamentals, based on best practices, at the maintenance level, in order to unlock the full potential of operation system implementation throughout all manufacturing facilities.
  • Contribute to the development of skills and capabilities of plant managers relating to work management, equipment reliability, asset management, failure analysis and elimination, etc.
  • Perform Maintenance and Reliability best practice audits to monitor the progress of site maturity, supporting the company's reliability program and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Guide, help and support plants in the development of 90-day plans to improve productivity and equipment availability by focusing on the proactive deployment of new programs.
  • Define, archive, update and publish plant maintenance and reliability performance indicators as well as define the governance model required to ensure the anchoring of the topics deployed.
  • Support plants during the deployment of emergency reliability assistance plans in order to help factories meet expected service levels within specific deadlines.
  • Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required along with min of five (5) years related experience in industrial maintenance and implementation of preventive maintenance and reliability programs is required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership being a part of a cross-functional plant management team
  • Proven experience in change management and a knack for interacting with others and maintaining constructive working relationships
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge within Maintenance and Reliability with ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, reporting tools, as well as in the various CMMS software
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification or similar preferred
  • Food consumer packaged goods experience as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred
  • Must be willing and able to travel 50-75% domestically for extended periods
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish preferred.
