The Business Services Product Manager is a is a strategic role within the B2B organization responsible for defining the product strategy for B2B Services for Small and Medium sized business sectors. This role leads the strategy, planning, delivery, and lifecycle optimization of Optimum B2B products.The Product Manager will work closely with leaders and teams in Product, Operations, IT, Network Engineering, Customer Experience, Retention, and various operational teams to bring the product strategy to market.
Responsibilities- Articulate the product vision including analyzing and evaluating the market opportunities and creating product requirements.
- Driving a solution set across development teams (i.e., Development/Engineering, operations, Marketing) through product requirements, product differentiation, and positioning.
- Own the P/L of the product and responsibility for its success.
- Managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing engagement with vendors, customers, and marketing teams.
- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, driving operational readiness, and working with all departments to execute it.
- Become an expert in the industry through curiosity, drive, and experimentation.
- Effectively communicate with all areas of the company, including executive leadership, so that you serve as the resident expert in decisions made regarding current and future products.
- Build products from existing ideas and help to develop new products based on your industry experience and contact with customers, suppliers, and prospects.
- Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, as well as a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
- Enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions.
- Serve as the internal and external champion for your product offering, working with the sales channels, operational support, partners/vendors, financial support and key customers.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with 5 years of product management experience, preferably at a technology company.
- Experience as owner of a Business-to-Business product, managing and launching successful products into the marketplace.
- Experience with Fixed Line and Mobile Connectivity, solid understanding of Telecom & Cyber Security technologies, and Internet/Voice/Video/Mobile services.
- Can demonstrate clear understanding of the entire product lifecycle process and critical stages of development.
- Exceptional interpersonal/people skills including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
- Knowledgeable across many functional areas, including product management, marketing, business development, procurement, financial planning, engineering, operations and support.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across teams, and lead without structured authority.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of product and market business fundamentals (i.e. share gains, profitability, addressable market).
- Exhibits confidence and a positive attitude, highly diplomatic yet assertive, demonstrating passion for the product and inspiring others.
- College or university degree, preferably in science or engineering.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00-$202,694.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
