Assistant Controller

As a Senior Accountant, you will be expected to partner with the corporate controller, handle daily tasks, and contribute to the testing and validation of a new system.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA system
• Collaborate with the corporate controller on daily tasks
• Engage in data validation and mapping to ensure the accuracy of the new system
• Conduct system testing to identify and rectify potential issues
• Contribute to the improvement of processes within the project
• Handle responsibilities related to the General Ledger
• Play a vital role in the Month End Close process
• Assist with data validation, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary
• Process customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA software.
• Demonstrated skills in system implementation and process improvement.
• Experience with month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in data validation and general ledger functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
