We are in search of a Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The successful candidate will support our healthcare professionals in providing excellent care to our patients. This position involves a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities, contributing to the smooth running of our medical practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing patients for examinations and procedures, which includes taking vital signs and recording medical histories
• Provide support to healthcare professionals during procedures and treatments
• Ensure medical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use
• Administer prescribed medications and injections under the supervision of the physician
• Deliver post-operative care instructions to patients to ensure their wellbeing
• Handle patient inquiries, providing them with information about procedures and services
• Maintain accurate, current patient records, assisting with the efficient running of the practice
• Assist in the processing of billing and insurance claims
• Ensure that all practice activities are compliant with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
• Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology and procedures to contribute to the efficient operation of our medical practice.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficient understanding of Basic Medical Terminology is required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems is a must.
• Familiarity with the operations of Medical Centers is needed.
• Ability to handle and organize Medical Charts effectively is essential.
• Knowledge of Medical Coding is required.
• Possession of Medical Licensing is a necessary qualification for this role.
