Job Description Summary:**
Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo's balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company's businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company's operations.Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
This role is on the Balance Sheet Optimization team as part of Capital Management within Treasury. Capital Management is responsible for the ongoing governance and strategic management of the Company’s regulatory capital position, including target ratios, capital actions, forecasting, stress testing, and line of business capital allocation.Capital Management also oversees the Company’s funds transfer pricing framework and houses Treasury’s Balance Sheet Optimization and legal entity management functions.

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director (Senior lead Treasury Analyst). In this role, you will:
+ Be an integral part of Treasury and Capital Management as a subject matter expert and thought leader on the Balance Sheet Optimization team.
+ Your primary responsibilities will involve leading key strategic initiatives canvassing all facets of Wells Fargo’s balance sheet and financial performance, including capital, liquidity, funding, profitability, line of business strategy, risk appetite, legal entity, geography, and operational structure.
+ You will have an opportunity to challenge the status quo, interact with key stakeholders across the enterprise, and provide recommendations to senior leadership following extensive research, and oversee execution of actions based on your analysis.
+ You will gain an in-depth understanding of Wells Fargo’s business model and the activity across each of its lines of business: Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Banking, Wealth and Investment Management, Consumer Lending, and Consumer and Small Business Banking.
**Required Qualifications:**
6+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ BS in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field.
+ Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; effective in communication across a variety of audiences and stakeholders, including executive management.
+ Ability to conduct research and analysis on complex topics; knack for triangulating sources of data and distilling information into key concepts for decision makers.
+ Expert understanding of bank regulation and key constraints facing GSIBs, particularly capital and liquidity requirements.
+ Knowledge of global banking business models including Wells Fargo and its peers.
+ Strong risk management background.
