We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to implement therapy programs and assist in evaluations under the direction of a supervising physical therapist. You will play a vital role in providing therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and support to students, while contributing to a safe, organized, and professional clinic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy procedures, including exercises, gait training, and mobility programs.
- Assist in evaluating student progress and report changes in status.
- Maintain equipment, perform routine repairs, and manage department inventory.
- Participate in educational and quality improvement programs.
- Provide staff training on mobility, lifting, and patient care techniques.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts.
- Associate Degree in Science from an accredited program with 3-6 months of clinical experience.
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff, while motivating adherence to treatment programs.
- Strong communication, clinical skills, and ability to manage physical demands of the role.
