Job Description
Join the McCarton Foundation and help transform lives! We’re seeking passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OT) to provide services to children with autism aged 2-3 years old. You will work alongside Speech-Language Pathologists, ABA Therapists, and a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do- Direct Care: Provide individualized treatment to children with autism aged 2-3.
- Assessment and Planning: Review physician referrals and children’s medical records, plan and perform treatment programs, and document goals and progress.
- Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
- Collaboration: Work with related services to provide individualized programming for each child.
- IFSP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing learning and development with support from experienced staff.
- New York State licensed Occupational Therapist.
- NBCOT Certification active and in good standing.
- Completion of a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Previous experience in autism and early childhood is desired.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a new environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
- Schedule: 8:00 am
- 4:00 pm, Monday
- Friday, full-time, 12-month position.

We believe in the potential of every child with developmental disabilities and strive to help them reach their full potential.Our McCarton Integrated Model combines speech and language therapy, fine and gross motor therapy, sensory integration therapy, socialization with peers, developmental play skills, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
