Are you ready to be an essential part of a dynamic shipping and logistics team? Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our Thermal Ceramics business unit in Elkhart, IN. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities: What you’ll do- Warehouse Management: Move finished products, packaging supplies, and other materials to the proper warehouse location and re-warehouse items to facilitate efficient shipping.
- Order Fulfillment: Select, move, and load products into trucks or railcars for shipment based on the loader's copy, ensuring accuracy and compliance with order specifications.
- Inventory Control: Contribute to inventory accuracy through physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Process inbound receiving of containers, pallet shipments, and small parcels.
- Maintenance & Safety: Keep the warehouse and trucks clean and orderly, perform driver maintenance on forklifts, and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Education & Experience: GED/High School Diploma preferred, with at least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving (manufacturing environment experience is a plus).
- Skills:
- - Ability to identify products by size, type, and style or product code.
- Strong reading skills to accurately read orders and shipping tickets.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft products (experience with JDE is a plus).
- Certifications: Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 55 pounds and perform physical activities such as climbing, stooping, bending, and reaching.
- This role requires the ability to work in a production environment with high noise levels and varying temperatures (up to 110 degrees during summer).

- Hours: Monday through Friday, 1st Shift, with potential overtime and holiday work as needed.
