Test technician
A leading client is looking for a Test Technician to join their team in the aerospace and military industry. The Test Technician will be responsible for testing products to ensure compliance and performance according to established procedures.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, strong electrical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot assemblies down to the component level. The ideal candidate will also be able to read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting and have experience working with power supplies.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing products to ensure compliance and performance according to established procedures
- Performs various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
- Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where the ability to recognize nonconformities is required.
- Understands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.
- Maintains fixturing, and performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Documents test results accurately.
- May act as the technical interface with other departments.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent certified technical degree.
- Experience working with analog and digital circuits.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a production test technician, product tester or similar role.
- Switching power supply experience required.
- Proficiency in testing documented procedures and protocols.
- Analytical thinking analysis skills.
- Problem-solving skills and decisive knowledge of appropriate testing methods.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with industry-standard testing equipment and software.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Ability to document activities.
