Staff Accountant

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Garden Grove, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and presenting financial statements to the team.

• Manage and process 300-350 accounts payable invoices on a monthly basis.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and balance sheet.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare and present financial statements to the team.
• Record journal entries as part of the accounting process.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial management and reporting.
• Oversee the month-end close process.
• Develop knowledge of cost goods as part of the financial overview.
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain meticulous customer credit records. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or a similar position.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Demonstrated experience in performing bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge and understanding of general ledger operations.
• Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately.
• Experience in handling month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites for daily administrative tasks.
