Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger and oversee the financial statement close process
- Conduct complex reconciliations and manage detail level work
- Utilize accounting software systems effectively for various accounting functions
- Oversee project accounting specific to the construction industry
- Take part in the implementation of new accounting software and systems
- Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and maintain a high level of customer service
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of internal controls related to accounting functions
- Contribute to financial reporting and month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential to perform various accounting functions effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions are required, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in Financial Reporting, including the ability to prepare accurate reports and present them to management.
- Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary for timely completion of financial periods.
