The Opportunity

We are seeking a strong and versatile project manager based out of the New Jersey branch. This position will have responsibility of supporting all aspects of the HVAC RNTL business in the northeast. Must be detail and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

Position requires a high level of correspondence with customers, technicians, supervisors, contractors, and sales. Must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the New Jersey branch and projects within the northeast region of the U.S.
  • Works with the National Application lead to ensure that all equipment is maintained, tested and repaired
  • Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability
  • Responsible for project coordination with customers
  • Drives quality of workmanship on jobsites and champions cleanliness and organization of our branch
  • Partners with the National Service Leader to execute strategic priorities on a local and national level
  • Coordinates operations interaction with sales and other departments, as necessary
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff and responding to special requests
  • Maintains accurate costs per project
  • Responsible for branch inventory accuracy
  • Executes and manages special projects as directed by the national service leader
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers
  • Assists with various warehouse or field activities as needed
  • Ensures coworkers in the branch are following appropriate safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the national service leader

Qualifications:

The Required Profile
  • 5 years of project managing complex installations of applied rental chillers.
  • Ability to influence the local team and peer teams to work together to drive an exceptional customer experience while driving strong business results
  • Is a champion of work processes and technology adoption
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Ability to work regularly, independently, and prioritize work on a day-to-day basis
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Mechanical Contracting or Construction industry experience a plus

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
