Description:

• Description In this highly visible technical lead position, you will be responsible for providing Engineering leadership and support to the Enterprise Data Science Team.
• You will work closely with a team of very talented data scientists and ml engineers in driving the requirements, development, design, and implementation of medium to complex pipelines in support of data science and machine learning initiatives.
• Knowledge of the internals of machine learning models is not required rather experience with building and managing the pipelines implemented around machine learning models.

What we’re looking for:

• You will need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

• Master’s Degree in any Computer Science curriculum.
• Experience building machine learning pipelines using various technologies.
• Experience with Git and building CI/CD pipelines integrated with Git.
• Understanding of database concepts, data warehouse and data lake technologies (Teradata, Aster, Hadoop).
• Understanding of data management infrastructure and IT system hardware.
• Experience in Designing and developing end-to-end solutions in a large scale data warehousing environment.
• Experience in data modeling, programming, data mining, large scale data acquisition, transformation and cleaning of structured and unsecured data.
• Subject matter expertise/knowledge in data integration, data quality, and database architecture and data governance.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem or Teradata platform with experience in related tools (Pig, Spark, Scoop, Oozie, HDFS, Bteq, FastExport, MLOAD, etc.)
• Extensive Experience in: SQL, Hive, Sqoop, OOZIE, Unix/Linux KSH, deploying PySpark or Scala models in production Hadoop cluster.
• Experience in large scale, complex ETL techniques and scripting.

Even better if you have:

• Experience in Project management and trouble reporting tools (JIRA, Slack)
• Knowledge of Data Science Life Cycle and machine learning techniques
• Experience in designing, developing and deploying automated data pipelines that leverage machine learning models.
• Experience in Open systems and Cloud based applications like AWS (S3, EC2)
• Experience with programming languages (PySpark, Python, Scala)
• Experience with machine learning tools (DataRobot)
• Experience with Docker image building and deploying to Kubernetes
• Experience with Cassandra
