Childcare Teacher | Huntersville | Part-Time
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a part-time Childcare Teacher for our NC 4-Star school in Huntersville. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you.
Pay rate of $16-$20 per hour
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range.Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Teacher Responsibilities:
- Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
- Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
- EDU 119, NCECC or a degree in early childhood or related field required for lead teacher positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center required.
