Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager is a Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area. Responsibilities typically include:
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
  • Providing organizational and analytical perspectives to the project team.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables.
  • Consulting with a range of associates in the organization
The purpose of the Senior Project Manager position is to provide project planning and project management services for all departments within the organization to ensure effective planning for assigned credit union initiatives and prompt, efficient completion of projects that often include external vendors.
This role requires regular analysis of data and the ability to meet somewhat complex interpersonal, analytical, and organizational demands and coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. The Senior Project Manager position applies advanced knowledge in a job area typically obtained through advanced education and experience.
This position reports into the Members 1st Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) and performs under moderate supervision. The Senior Project Manager demonstrates sufficient working knowledge of project management practices and procedures and applies them effectively.

The key responsibilities of this role include initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing assigned business and technology projects in accordance with the Members 1st Project Management Process. The Senior Project Manager partners effectively, building relationships across the organization to engage stakeholders in project governance activities.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to sit for extended time periods
  • Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

Qualifications:

  1. 5 years of related experience

Education Level: General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree

We are excited to offer a competitive salary for this position. This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location.

We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.

The minimum salary for this position is: $96,000+/year
