We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a attention to details, and strong communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
- Prepare reports on key risk indicators, performance indicators, and other cyber security insights derived from multiple information sources.
- Analyze security incidents, investigate root causes, and document findings.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on security assessments, incident investigations and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls and mitigate risks.
- Present finding and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in information security or a related field.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO, 27001, CIS)
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required.
- Security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISA, CRISC)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response methodologies.
- Relevant college degree plus two years of experience, or five years of relevant experience.
