We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a attention to details, and strong communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
• Prepare reports on key risk indicators, performance indicators, and other cyber security insights derived from multiple information sources.
• Analyze security incidents, investigate root causes, and document findings.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on security assessments, incident investigations and compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls and mitigate risks.
• Present finding and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in information security or a related field.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO, 27001, CIS)
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required.

• Security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISA, CRISC)
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response methodologies.

• Relevant college degree plus two years of experience, or five years of relevant experience.
