Project Manager

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiating with owners and sub-contractors.
• Planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, and a complete understanding of the project management process.
• Following up on proposals.
• Leading the project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Soliciting and evaluating sub-contractor quotes.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support company growth.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing project finances, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting. Having a comprehensive understanding of all costs involved.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Education Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Ability to travel to project sites is required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Experience with Specialty Contractors or a "Self-Performing" contractor.
