Job Description

The Head of Business Development, Biologics will:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth in the Biologics CDMO sector.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close deals with potential clients in the Biologics field.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Represent the organization at industry events in Boston and beyond.
  • Provide insights and knowledge on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Business Development, Biologics should have:

  • A Ph.D. or advanced degree in biology, molecular & cellular biology, immunology, or a relevant field.
  • No direct business development experience is required. **
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • The ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Solid understanding of market trends and competitor activities in Biologics and CGT.
