Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

• Analyze and process medical claims and denials
• Conduct regular account reconciliations
• Manage appeals process for customer accounts
• Post customer receipts and manage credit work queues
• Maintain accurate customer records and process customer credit applications
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage accounts receivable
• Use CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions
• Conduct check processing and manage cash activity
• Use Epic System for billing functions
• Support other team members and departments as needed with financial inquiries and tasks
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP
• Financial Services
• Experience with CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Demonstrated ability in Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing Functions, Cash Activity, and Check Processing
• Experience with Epic System is essential
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred
• Relevant experience in a similar role is considered an asset
• A solid understanding of medical billing and coding procedures
• Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy regulations.
