Data Scientist II

We are in search of a Data Scientist II to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. The role involves utilizing a variety of data science skills to analyze and interpret complex data, helping to drive strategic decisions within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Apply Python, Command line, Power BI, SQL to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns and trends.
• Create clear visualizations and reports that effectively depict data insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis.
• Continually enhance data collection procedures to include relevant data for analysis.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in data science.
• Implement effective strategies to optimize data quality and data extraction processes.
• Work closely with IT teams to maintain system performance and ensure maximum uptime.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data systems and processes. • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Strong understanding of machine learning models, data mining, and statistical analysis tools
• Experience with command line scripting, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
