Controller

This role will require a hybrid work model with weekly on-site attendance.

• Lead the development and management of organizational budgets
• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Guide and manage a team of Senior Accountants, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment
• Actively participate in the implementation of process improvements to enhance financial tracking and reporting
• Conduct both internal and external annual audits, ensuring compliance with established standards
• Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, providing strategic insights based on financial data
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement
• Ensure accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
• Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed. • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller or similar role
• Proficiency in Month End Close procedures
• Demonstrable experience in Audit processes
• Proven expertise in Financial Audits
• Experience in conducting Annual Internal Audits
• Familiarity with conducting Annual External Audits
• Strong skills in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial software applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Demonstrable knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
