Robert Half - Part-time Accounting Assistant

We are offering an employment opportunity for a Part-time Accounting Assistant (15-20 hours/week), based in Concord, New Hampshire. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be instrumental in managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate records.

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.
• Record invoice payments in the accounting system via the credit card processing account.
• Generate and scrutinize Accounts Receivable aging reports for all entities.
• Proactively send reminders and follow-ups for overdue invoices to ensure prompt collections.
• Contribute to general bookkeeping tasks and financial record-keeping.
• Provide support to the finance team with data entry, reconciliations, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Create invoices as required for multiple entities.
• Deposit checks and record transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit industry
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in performing Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven track record in maintaining accurate Record Keeping
• Ability to perform Reconciliations effectively and efficiently
