Senior Software Developer - PDSS

a.i. solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer who will work with the PDSS development team to support the Payload Operations Integration Center (POIC), the ISS mission ground systems hosted in the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC) in support of the NASA Marshall Operations Systems, Services, and Integration II (MOSSI II) contract.

The team is responsible for supporting the flight operations groups with back-room ground support systems that handle NASA's high-rate Space link data communications processing for International Space Station and the Artemis launch rocket. These systems currently run on both physical Linux servers and VMware systems and there are plans in work to move current capabilities to containers.

Desired Experience:

Experience in programming languages like Angular, C#, C/C++, and Java

Strong network programming skills/experience

Complex multi-threaded parallel design experience, as well as object-oriented design techniques

Experience with unit testing

Ability to capture/present technical information

Automated testing

Familiarity with Agile process and containers

Minimum Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an institution accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET)

5+ years of relevant experience
