Retail Store Associate

Overview:

We are on the hunt for someone is smart, works hard, and gets things done!

We’re ready to bring our life-saving garments to Houston in a brick-and-mortar store, and we need you!

This opportunity requires an outgoing and team player attitude and someone who has flexibility to work Monday through Saturday afternoons; NO Sunday store hours required!

Responsibilities:

• Become a product knowledge expert, learning the specs of our technical FR/Non FR apparel;
• Offer superior customer service to all customers;
• Greet customers, build relationships and offer recommends on apparel selection;
• Drive sales via up-selling techniques and recommend alternative products when necessary;
• Display and replenish merchandise;
• Perform routine store cleaning;
• Unpack received shipments;
• Handle cash flow;
• Process payment transactions through Point of Sale system;
• Follow all loss prevention procedures to minimize store shrinkage;
• Perform other duties as assigned;

Qualifications:

• 1 year retail experience required;
• Capable of handling cash flow and credit card transactions;
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including morning, evening and Saturday availability;
• Ability to learn technical components of products;
• Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures;
• Strong interpersonal skills and integrity;
• Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities;
• Ability to lift minimum of 40lbs;
