Job Description
  • Partner with department supervisors and staff to address employee relations issues and provide HR guidance on the manufacturing floor.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations, maintaining a strong focus on legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee performance management processes, track absenteeism, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage HR functions including payroll, time tracking, and general administration using Paycom.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, provide coaching to employees, and foster positive employee relations across all levels.
  • Collaborate with leadership to proactively resolve performance and behavioral issues, ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Maintain a visible and accessible HR presence on the production floor to enhance employee engagement and support.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of HR management experience, with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience with employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor HR staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is required.
  • Experience handling payroll, benefits administration, and safety compliance.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and talent development strategies.
