GPS Operator (Finish blade)
Overview:
Cash Construction is in search for a Finish Blade/GPS Operator, for the Pflugerville, TX & surrounding areas. Operate a bulldozer safely to cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape, and dress slopes. Successful candidate must have experience and knowledge in earthwork, underground utility work, subgrade/base and paving.

Location & Travel Details: This is a traveling position, up to 90% of the time, encompassing work sites in the assigned project area, covering projects that will vary around the state of Texas, and will include some overnight travel. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.When overnight travel is required, meals and lodging will also be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment and machinery
- Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
- Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, and falling objects.
- Perform maintenance work to equipment including oiling, greasing, and making necessary adjustments.
- Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.
Qualifications:
Qualifications- 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
