One of our clients in the Bay Area is looking to hire a consultant to handle the overall process for customer master record creation, working closely with various teams to manage customer reporting hierarchies and key attributes for financial reporting and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of customer master set up to assist Business Operations and Sales Operations teams.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, and cross-functional teams regarding customer master data and attributes.
• Regularly review processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to modify and implement functional improvements to processes.
• Approve and review of SOX controls and internal and external PBC requests.
• Provide guidance and coaching to a team of analysts.
• Manage the global customer master creation team to support Business, Sales, Planning, and Logistics teams for orders creation and fulfillment.
• Work closely with Revenue Accounting and Reporting teams, as well as business partners from BU Finance, Sales Operations, Claims Settlement, and IT teams, to manage customer reporting hierarchies and key attributes for financial reporting and accounting.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills and analytics aptitude for managing and analyzing customer data.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office Functions, and Oracle Cloud
• Proven experience in Sales, Finance, External Audit, and Financial Reporting
• Proficient in Reporting, Analytics, and Quality Review processes
• Familiarity with Logistics, Revenue Accounting, and Claim Administration
• Solid understanding of Operations and Planning strategies
• Experience in Compliance and providing guidance within a corporate setting
• Excellent Communication Skills with the ability to liaise effectively with Stakeholders and Business Partners
• Ability to handle Settlements and related tasks efficiently
• Adept at analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
